Helping with fundraising

Materials, tools, and equipment are expensive (our robot is not unlike a small car, both in terms of complexity and cost), and experiential learning is priceless. Help us prevent funding from becoming an obstacle by donating today!

Families can make donations through our                       !

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit so donations may qualify for a tax deduction.

You can also ask your employer, family, friends, or community businesses on our behalf with the following template solicitation email.

Helping out with administration and logistics
We meet on Monday evenings from 8 PM to 9 PM on Zoom. We work together to organize:

• Team communication

• Website management

• Event logistics

• Award applications

• Fundraising

• Accounting

• Legal matters and insurance

Mentors

Adults can help the team by mentoring our sessions at WHS or the buildspace or by attending FIRST events. You'll be able to help the students learn while learning something new yourself! To apply to become a mentor, please complete the following documents and email them to wellesleyfrc@gmail.com:

• WPS Adult Liability waiver

• WPS CORI Form

Please also complete the ten-minute FIRST Youth Protection program. You can find when the students meet on the session schedule.
