HOW TO JOIN THE TEAM
Students
An overview checklist of our onboarding process can be found HERE.
To join the team, please follow these steps:

Fill out our Interest Form to gain access to our Discord server as a guest.

You will gain full access to the server and become a full member of the team upon completing the following:

Fill out our comprehensive Registration Google Form

Ask your parent to register you on the FIRST website by following these instructions.

Sign the following forms, then email them to wellesleyfrc@gmail.com:

Helping with fundraising
Materials, tools, and equipment are expensive (our robot is not unlike a small car, both in terms of complexity and cost), and experiential learning is priceless. Help us prevent funding from becoming an obstacle by donating today!

Families can make donations through our GoFundMe!
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit so donations may qualify for a tax deduction.

You can also ask your employer, family, friends, or community businesses on our behalf with the following template solicitation email.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7 PM to 8 PM on Zoom. We work together to organize:

You can join our Discord server to join in on team discussions.
Mentors
Adults can help the team by mentoring our sessions at WHS or the buildspace or by attending FIRST events. You'll be able to help the students learn while learning something new yourself! To apply to become a mentor, please complete the following documents and email them to wellesleyfrc@gmail.com:
Please also complete the ten-minute FIRST Youth Protection program.
